BBHL Jamboree series
Big Boy Restaurants has partnered with Big Boy Arena again to host a series of Mini-Mite & Mite Jamborees throughout the 2024-2025 hockey season to provide a place for teams to have an opportunity to play other teams from around the state, within their own age group, in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
Information
BBHL Jamboree Series consists of 3 jamborees throughout the hockey season. Every team player will receive a swag bag, sponsored by Big Boy Restaurants, at each event.
Guidelines

Each team will play 3-4 games
-
U6 will play 4V4 cross ice games (no goalie, uses smaller nets)
-
U8 will play 4V4 half ice games (4 players plus 1 goalie)
-
All games will be 21 minutes
-
Buzzer will sound every 1:30 for shift change
-
Scores will not be kept
-
2 Minutes will be put on the clock between games

Face-offs will occur only at the beginning of each game

When play is stopped due to goalie controlling the puck, a whistle will signal the attacking players to vacate the zone

No icing or offside calls
-
Once the buzzer sounds for the shift change, players must immediately give up control of the puck and head to the bench
-
In the case of a short bench, at the sound of the buzzer all players must make contact with the bench boards before resuming play.
cost
The cost to participate is $100 per team for each Jamboree they participate in.

Registration for Season End Jamborees coming soon! Schedule will be emailed to all participating teams approx. 1-week before event, with all game times falling between the 8am - 2pm time frame.
